The newly dedicated A K Ratul Studio at Live2Web, honouring the legacy of the late Owned frontman

In a significant tribute to Bangladeshi rock music heritage, Live2Web has unveiled a new recording facility named the A K Ratul Studio, commemorating the late frontman of the renowned band Owned. The dedication ceremony marks a poignant moment in preserving Bengal's rich cultural legacy.

A Musical Legacy Preserved

A K Ratul, who passed away on July 27, was not only celebrated as the voice of Owned but had also established himself as an accomplished producer, crafting numerous successful albums that shaped the preservation of cultural expression through music.

Royal Heritage and Artistic Dynasty

The studio dedication carries particular significance given Ratul's lineage as the son of legendary Bangladeshi actor Abul Khayer Jashim Uddin (Jashim). This connection to established entertainment heritage extends through his brothers, A K Rahul and A K Samee, who continue to contribute to the rock music scene.

"Thank you Live2Web. Thank you Hasi. This means the world to our family," shared A K Rahul, expressing gratitude for the tribute to his brother's memory.

Preserving Traditional Values Through Music

Though Ratul's departure in his mid-thirties came far too soon, the studio dedication ensures his contributions to Bangladesh's musical tradition will continue to inspire future generations while maintaining the cultural values he championed throughout his career.
