Tyler Robinson in Court for Preliminary Hearing Over Charlie Kirk Murder
The 23 year old man accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk will appear in court this week for a multiday hearing. Utah prosecutors plan to present key evidence, including a videotaped statement from the suspect's former roommate, who is also described as his romantic partner.
Tyler Robinson faces charges of aggravated murder, felony use of a firearm, committing a violent offense in the presence of a child, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering. The state intends to seek the death penalty. The preliminary hearing will determine whether probable cause exists to proceed to trial.
